Ok, this is different – it is a very good combination of real v/s surreal. And I am still looking to buy that lamp as a new year gift to me wifey!

Those are some really good illustrations on the site, and the clean design wins heart! A very good, and often overused motif of clean designs prevailed in 2010, and this one is a better example of it.

Although horizon has become a recurring theme within illustrations, the use of browser icons are characters is creative here.

Nicely done illustration of a monkey piloted aircraft. And the thought bubble-ish design has more meaning than just an aesthetic element.

Underground machinery – intriguing.

Most of the Icon websites I have seen have got illustrations in them – nothing wrong in it, you have to keep it spicy, after all.

Museo – check. Earthy, noisy background – check. 1 pixel lines – check. Text shadow – check. Attitude – check.
