Those are some really good illustrations on the site, and the clean design wins heart! A very good, and often overused motif of clean designs prevailed in 2010, and this one is a better example of it.

Although horizon has become a recurring theme within illustrations, the use of browser icons are characters is creative here.

Museo – check. Earthy, noisy background – check. 1 pixel lines – check. Text shadow – check. Attitude – check.

H-U-G-E footer! It has awesome flowchart in its design; you’ll have to see to believe! Only quirk – the navigation bar crosses the text!

We have been talking about retro.  Now what about THIS?   Retro goes back centuries, takes some awesome renaissance and medieval European art, mixes a bit of steampunk and what you have is an awesome footer.

Night time in Tickerville!!

This is one of the larger footers, and is captured only 1/3rd.  They have an introduction, and it’s LOUD and CLEAR.
